 Exterior PAINTING ALUMINUM Aluminum siding can be successfully painted using a good quality latex paint. The siding should be cleaned using a pressure washer prior to painting. To insure that the undercoat adheres properly to the aluminum, a bonding additive should be mixed to the primer coat. (Flood EB Emulsa Bond is one that works very well). Note: If the aluminum siding is not in perfect condition use a matt or flat paint. Gloss paint will highlight the imperfections in the siding.
